About Me

Although my start in the acting world came late, and a bit accidently, I have found my passion. It all started with intro to improv which I took to prove my husband, who thought I'd enjoy it, wrong. But I loved it, and still practice weekly with my team. Acting class was meant to simply help with improv, but instead, i got hooked on acting. My weekly classes this past year with Anthony Robert Grasso have improved my technique. Memorzing weekly sides in characters that are not always my type pushes me to improve.
About Me

My start in acting may have come late, and a bit accidentally, but I have certainly found my passion. It all started with an intro to improv class I took just to prove to my husband that improv was not for me. How wrong I was! I loved it and I started taking evening classes after work. Before I knew it, I was practicing and performing with a fabulously funny team, trying my hand at standup and even working on sketch writing.
Oddly, I took my first acting class just to improve my improv skills. Although it did help my improv, I also had an "a-ha" moment of "how did I not know how right acting was for me?" A few years and many classes later, I was a full-time actor.
I can now see that all of my past skills; improv, standup, sketch and even past corporate & consulting jobs, influence the actor that I am today.
I continuously hone my on-camera skills by always being in a weekly class: A few of the studios I've trained with include: Anthony Robert Grasso's Studio, the Anthony Meindl Actors Workshop, Audition Arts, Heidi Marshall and currently Camille Monet. Working with partners, analyzing scripts and trying out new roles pushes me to continually improve.
